Erin Blackmore Erin Blackmore — Executive Director

Erin Blackmore is the Founder and Director of HopeMatch. She moved to the Charlotte area after getting her degree in Sociology from College of Charleston. Erin spent many years working as a Food Stamp Case Manager for the Department of Social Services.

She developed a heart for the people who often fell "through the cracks" and were in desperate need of hope in their lives, as they didn't qualify for many State or Federally funded services. Erin also spent some time as a Volunteer Coordinator for a local Hospice organization, and saw first hand the financial struggles that people often have when faced with a terminal illness. These life experiences led Erin to found an organization that helps support those people in our community who are overlooked and forgotten...a place where they can find HOPE.

Erin is humbled and amazed every day at how people from every walk of life come together to serve others through HopeMatch. The heart and passion of the people who work with us is overwhelming. Erin looks forward to many more years serving through HopeMatch and seeing how the vision of HopeMatch plays out over time.
